Adults Lead the Way
Whether teaching young girls
a fun dance or leading older
girls on a walk-about, adult
volunteers light the way with
encouragement and passion.
Added Benefits
Becoming an adult volunteer
is a great way to shape girls
into the women of tomorrow
and build friendships of your
own.
Adults and How They Support the Girls
Granite City & Madison Girl Scouts
Who do you want the girl in your life to become? Whether
she is 5 or 17, you want her to become self-confident, strong,
and compassionate. You want her to respect herself and
others, make good decisions, be open to new challenges,
and use her skills and talents to make her world a better
place. You want her to build strong friendships, be a leader,
and put her values into practice in her everyday life.

Girl Scouting provides girls with opportunities to address the
important issues in their lives. Girl Scouts do almost anything
girls like to do! Girl Scout activities are open to all girls who
are members of Girl Scouting, are based on the Girl Scout
Promise and Law, and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience,
follow health and safety standards, and are done with the
support of caring, trained adult volunteers.
What did you do today? As a Girl Scout volunteer, you'll
add meaningful days to girls' lives and to your own.
Tackle everything from global warming to election reform.
Travel to incredible places. Share your personal passions
and create experiences together you'll never forget.

Think it's a full-year commitment? Think again. Schedule
tight? No problem. There are endless, flexible ways to
participate.
