Do you have a daughter in a Granite City, Madison, Mitchell, or Pontoon Beach
school?  Is your daughter age 5 to 17?  Does she want to get to meet other girls her
age?  Are you and she both interested in building her character and skills for
success in the real world, developing qualities that will serve her all her life, like
leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about her own potential
and self-worth?

Then Granite City Girl Scouts is the place for you both!   Feel free to browse the area
schools pages to see what our Adult Volunteers are doing to help "grow our girls."  If
you would like more information on your daughter becoming a Girl Scout or on you
becoming a Volunteer, please email us at

The Girl Scout Promise

On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law
The Girl Scout Law

I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful, considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place,
and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
The four Girl Scout program goals outline the basic
outcomes for a girl participating in Girl Scouts. Each goal
specifies how girls will grow and develop through their Girl
Scout experience. Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council and
the Granite City Service Unit strive to provide a framework
for addressing these goals. These four fundamental
program goals encourage girls to:

    Develop to their full potential.

Relate to others with increasing understanding,
skill, and respect.

Develop a meaningful set of values to guide their

actions and to provide for sound decision-making.

Contribute to the improvement of society.
